I’m now 3 kids deep & I think I have found the things & products that work best for us & that I absolutely LOVE! There’s no time or room for fluff anymore & I think this is the most pared down my baby products have been & I’m loving the simplicity of it.

These are all things that I have LOVED having this time around!

Postpartum

Adult Diapers

Hear me out, I’ve done the giant pads and they just never sit right in the underwear or come unstuck and shift around all the time & are just uncomfortable. These adult diapers came highly recommended & I see why! No more shifting pad & everything is nice & “contained”.

Feeding/Nursing

Nursing Bras

With my last baby I splurged on these Soma wireless nursing bras & while I really do love them, I wanted something a little less structured and more stretchy this time. So I got these ribbed ones from Amazon & love them!! They have removable pads that i just took out and I was worried about coverage after doing that, but the Lily Padz or disposable nursing pads are enough!

Lily Padz

I have used these “nursing pads” exclusively with all three of my kids & truly believe they are the reason I have had no cracking or bleeding EVER! I wear them for the first week or two until my body is used to nursing & by then, I don’t need them anymore & switch to disposable nursing pads in my bra.

Pumpables Portable Pump

I exclusively nurse, but have always pumped as well. Partially because I always have a bit of an oversupply and also because I still work as a wedding photographer & occasionally need to leave my baby all day & need them to take a bottle. With typical pumps like my Spectra I used with my other two(still love this thing), you’re somewhat tied to stay in one place until you’re done. Which was totally doable with my first two, but life is jsut busier now and I don’t have much down time to sit for a while, so this pump is awesome!

For one, it’s so small! it’s 1/4 of the size of my last pump and so much lighter. It also comes with a clip you can attach to your waistband and a lanyard to put around your neck so you can be doing other things while pumping. I also added the collection cups next to make it truly hands free.

Legendairy Milk Collection Cups

These are so nice to have! I connect them to my Pumpables Pump and put them in my bra. Then I can make breakfast or fold laundry or drive or whatever else I need to do while pumping. They have a good size capacity & are super easy to use. If you shop through my link above, you get $10 off an order of $50 or more!

Boon Trove

This is so awesome to have if you are trying to build a freezer stash of milk. You just put it on the side you’re not nursing on and it collects the milk your body naturally lets down that usually gets caught in your nursing pads. It helps builds that stash without adding an extra pumping session.

Muslin Burp Rags

These are the best burp rags & you can’t convince me otherwise! When I had my first, someone gifted me a beautiful muslin burp rag from a baby boutique that I just loved. But when I went to buy more of them. They were $12 EACH and if you have had babies, you know you need like a dozen burp rags. So that wasn’t going to happen and I got by with the basic ones from Target. Then when I was pregnant with my second, I sewed my own muslin burp rags and it was still more expensive than I wanted and I had to sew them all, which took forever. Then onto my third kid and muslin burp rags are finally starting to catch on and are super affordable on Amazon! I bought two of these packs and they have been great! They get softer with every wash, come in tons of pretty colors and are super absorbent!

Hydrojug Traveler

I am always SO THIRSTY because of nursing. So this water bottle comes with me everywhere, every single day! It keeps my water cold all day long, has a straw that folds down to keep sticky little toddler mouths off of it, and it has a rubber base so it doesn’t wake the baby when you set it down. If you shop through my link above, you get $10 off your first order of $50 or more!

Sleeping

Ben & James Jack Swaddle Sack & Swaddle Blanket

I am going to sing the praises of this sleep sack until the day I die because it is truly amazing! I used a velcro swaddle with my other two kids and it did the job, but they were always sneaking their hands out the top no matter how tight I wrapped them. With this swaddle, that’s nearly impossible because of how it secures their arms. Peyton has slept amazing & slept through the night for the first time at only 7 weeks old and I’m sure it’s because of this! They also have the best swaddle blankets!

Owlet Dream Sock

I’ve used this for all three of my kids & it gives us so much peace of mind. It watches your baby’s vitals & movement, alerting you if anything doesn’t look right. There’s an app to see what their sleep looked like & when they were awake, in light sleep or deep sleep so you can see how their sleep is progressing. It’s not a cheap purchase, but is amazing for any anxious parent & is totally worth it.

Sound Machine Digital Clock

I love to have a digital clock on my nightstand so I know what time it is whenever she wakes up and so I know when it’s time to feed her again at just a glance. This clock doubles as a sound machine which is always nice to have with a sleeping baby.

Egg Light

This is a new one for me that I have been LOVING! It’s so convenient & perfect for middle of the night feeds & diaper changes. It turns on and off, dims & brightens with just a couple taps & it holds a charge forever so you can pick it up and take it wherever you need to.

4Moms Crib w/ Bassinet

I will ALWAYS recommend skipping the traditional bassinet & going for a portable crib with a bassinet insert because you are probably going to buy a portable crib anyway and that’s just one less thing to purchase and then have to store. I used this less expensive Graco PacknPlay for my first two kids and upgraded to this 4Moms one with Peyton & I’m really loving it. It was more expensive, but much nicer quality & I expect it to hold up much better. I also got mine from a place called Good Buy Gear and got an “open box” one and saved a bunch of money! I highly recommend checking them out first for any baby gear you are planning on buying full price.

Carriers

Mabē Carrier

This is a new carrier on the market & I am obsessed! It is a structured carrier that I use almost daily. It is very similar to the popular(and expensive) Artipoppe carrier at a fraction of the price. It was created by a mom in Idaho & she has done such an amazing job with it that every launch has sold out in minutes, it’s that good!

Solly Wrap

These has been so nice to have in the newborn days when she still just wants to be cuddled up to me. They come in so many cute colors & patterns. I have two and keep one in my car in case I ever need it while I’m out & about, and another at home. They even have a child size version that Henley has. Every time I put mine on, she goes and gets hers to carry a doll or stuffed animal in. The code MORGANP10 will save you 10%!

Clothing

Ribbed Pajamas

I have loved having these stretchy ribbed pajamas to put Peyton in every day. I want to get every color because they’re that good. Throw on a cute bow & she’s got an outfit! Staying home, sleeping, they’re good for everything & have that double zipper so you can unzip from the bottom for easy diaper changes.

Knotted Gowns & Elastic Bottom Gowns

These are so nice to have, especially when you’re spending your whole day at home. They easily untie or jsut get pushed up for diaper changes. I got mine at a children’s resale shop and saved some money, so be sure to check if your town has a Once Upon a Child or something similar! The elastic bottom ones are more affordable than most knotted gowns.

Bows

Every little girl needs cute bows! I have been buying from this shop for 4 years now and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon! They are so cute & so affordable. I like to have a bunch of solid colors and then of course some fun printed or textured ones too. When she has enough hair for clips, I just cut them off the nylon headband and superglue them to a clip.

Headband Bows

These are some other bows I have liked having. They are a thick headband with a bow on it in solid colors. And they’re really cheap!

Miscellaneous

Bouncer

I love having something that I can move around the house that holds Peyton. This has been used with all of our kids & is still holding up great. The cover is easy to remove & wash when needed & I love that it’s very gender neutral.

Swing

Everyone needs a swing. It is somewhere safe to put baby and it will gently rock them to sleep(Peyton is snoozing in it as I type this). I can always count on her to take a good long nap in it when I need to get something done without her.

Bath Lounger

Another thing that I’ve used with all of my kids & have loved! This bath lounger is perfect for setting baby in when giving them a bath in the tub.

Nurst Lotion

I want the gentlest lotion for my baby’s skin & this is just that! Made from colostrum with no fragrance, it is perfect for sensitive skin. It also is AMAZING at getting rid of baby acne. Use code MORGAN10 to save 10%!

Colostrum & Tallow Soap

I have switched from using baby soap & shampoo to using this because it is so much gentler on her skin. It is made from colostrum, tallow & honey & is perfect for sensitive baby skin. Use code MORGAN10 to save 10%!

Hatch Baby App

I love using this app to track feedings & also sleep once I start sleep training & tracking wake windows.
