Whipped Cream
Jump to recipe
A fridge staple for me is heavy cream, so I am able to make fresh whipped cream whenever I want!
It just uses three ingredients you probably already have on hand and comes together in just minutes.
All you need is a cup of heavy cream, 2 Tablespoons of powdered sugar and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla.
I like to chill my bowl in the freezer for a few minutes before making the whipped cream, but this step is optional!
Then, with your mixer on high speed, whip the cream until it is thick and creamy! Just be sure to not over whip as it will start to separate. I like to use my hand mixer so I have more control, this is the one I have had since college and still use regularly! I love that it comes with a base that holds the cord and wisks to they aren’t all over the place or lost.
Then store it in an airtight container in the fridge! It will last a few days before it starts to deflate, so eat it up!
