Gift Guide for a Home Cook
If there’s one type of person I know inside and out, it’s the home cook & baker because that’s me! There are so many things out there for home cooks that they probably don’t have yet and you can be the person to get it for them!
Heated Dough Mat: This thing is such a game changer! You plug it in, set the temperature that you want, put your dough bowl on top of it, and it creates the perfectly warm environment to cut your rising time in half. Cast Iron Skillet: If you are getting a gift for maybe a newly married couple or someone who’s starting on their journey in cooking, this is a staple item for them to have! We got ours for our wedding almost 7 years ago & I use it almost daily! It’s one of those pieces that will last forever & be passed on if it’s taken care of.
Ninja Possible Slow Cooker: This is a new to me product that I have fallen in love with! It combines 10 different functions in one, my favorites being the saute, roast & slow cook functions. I can brown my roast in the same pot I slow cook it in!
Bosch or Nutrimill Artiste Mixer: These are workhorses! The Bosch is the OG mixer that will last your lifetime & the Artiste is it’s little sister with slightly less horsepower, but at a lower price point. I have used the Artiste for 4 years now and just upgraded to the Bosch for a little more power!
Ninja Creami Deluxe: This is definitely not a necessary product, but is is SO COOL! I am actually eating a pint of chocolate peanut butter protein ice cream as I type this up! It makes the best ice cream & slushies in minutes!
Traeger Smoker: Go big or go home! We LOVE our Traeger & use it all the time. I especially love the app so I can check the temperature of the smoker, temperature of the meat, timer and even change the temperature from inside the house or when we’re not even home! I can’t tell you how many times we’re sitting in church and realize the meat is almost done so we turn the temperature down so it’s perfect when we get home
Crossback Apron: This is hands down my FAVORITE apron to wear! I’ve worn the same one for 3+ years now & I’m probably due for a new one, but I just love it so much. It’s a crossback style so there’s no ties and it doesn’t cinch around your waist! I especially love this when I’m pregnent and don’t have much of a waist to tie a regular apron around.
Microfiber Dish Towels: This brand was one of the best ones I tested in my microfiber towel comparison! It comes in a 2 pack, perfect for gifting!
FoodSaver Vacuum Sealer: I LOVE this thing. I vacuum seal extra meat, freezer meals, and more with this thing. This is one of those adult things that make me happy & you/your loved one will love it too!
Bread Knife: This is the best bread knife at the best price! If someone on your list bakes bread of any sort, they need this! Add a cute dish towel, tie a bow around it and you’ve got the perfect gift!
